Urad dal : 2cups
Baking powder : pinch
coconut and green chilli small pieces : few
Salt to taste

Preparation :

1) Take urad dal in a vessel, wash them and sock for 10 hours or (Preferably over night).

2) Remove water and grind it into thick paste by adding little bit of water ( Make sure the batter is thick enough). Add
salt, baking powder, coconut and green chilli pieces. Mix well.

3) Heat two to three cups of oil in a deep bottomed vessel or kadai. Take the paste in the right hand palm and make it into round shape, put thumb finger in the center to make hole, put them in to the oil and fry them until brown.

Serve with peanut chutny and sambar.
